Description:

We are Averys Acres, a small farm/homestead where we currently produce organically fed chicken, pork and eggs. All of our animals are raised outdoors in their natural habitat, where they are free to scratch, root and wallow. They all have access to grass and vegetation and are also supplemented with fresh fruits and vegetables. All of our livestock are processed off farm at government inspected facilities and are butchered locally at Sedo's butcher.

We started this journey for ourselves, to know where our food comes from, to have our animals raised organically  and with care and love. We realized soon after starting this journey that there was a demand from our community for the same things we wanted and searched for and from that we began to offer our products for sale. We now have a regular list of customers that is always expanding. We offer Monthly subscription meat boxes, chickens as pre-sales in the Spring & Summer months and most recently we have started a collaboration with Lavender Creek Farm  by offering the Field to Feast box- we feature a variety of items locally grown by other Shuswap Farmers to fill your freezers and fridges  once a month.
